Frequently asked questions
What does "certified" mean on this page?
The provider holds a certificate with a certificate number, an accreditation body and an expiry date on file with MSP Pie. It's a specific, checkable claim, not a general endorsement.
Does MSP Pie verify these certificates itself?
No. We display what's on record from a licensed data source and, for some providers, what they've entered themselves. We don't independently sight every certificate. Check with the accreditation body before you sign anything.
Why do some providers have no certification listed?
Most Australian IT providers don't hold one. Not being listed here says nothing about the quality of a provider's work; it means no certificate is on file with us.
What happens when a certificate expires?
It stops being shown as current. We compute this from the expiry date every time the page loads, so a certificate that lapses today reads as lapsed today, not on the next data refresh.
